At a legislative summit with the business lobby group Association of Washington Business, Senator Bob Hasegawa responds to a statement from an audience member who claimed all students should strive for a degree instead of professional qualification.
Hasegawa said that is wasn’t about white collar or blue collar jobs, but the ability to “put in an eight hour day, and actually live a life and raise a family – that is what I would like to see for us all.”
