Conway recognized for commitment to City of Lakewood

This month, the City of Lakewood issued a proclamation expressing its appreciation to Sen. Steve Conway and state legislators who represent the City of Lakewood for their outstanding service, dedication and commitment to the citizens of Lakewood during the 2015 Legislative Session.

The proclamation recognizes the legislators for securing nearly $500 million in transportation funding to relieve congestion on I-5 and support transportation improvement projects in the Lakewood area.

Additionally, Sen. Conway and his colleagues were able to obtain nearly $5 million to support the Gravelly Lake Drive Non-Motorized Trail project and the Lake City Business District Sidewalk Project.

The proclamation also referenced the legislators’ strong support and commitment to military members and families stationed at JBLM.
